Things worth keeping,
chosen one at a time
A small, changing range of genuinely useful things for the home, the outdoors and everyday life. Chosen slowly, checked properly, and nothing on the shelf we would not use ourselves.
Care rarely stops with you
The people who look after themselves are usually looking after someone else too. A home, a family, a dog, a weekend outdoors. We build for that whole picture, which is why the range keeps widening and why the standard behind it never moves.
- ✓ One standard, whoever it is forThe same sourcing rules, the same checks, the same refusal to cut a corner because nobody would notice.
- ✓ A small range, grown slowlyWe would rather sell six things we believe in than six hundred we cannot vouch for.
- ✓ Easy to live withSimple routines that fit the day you already have, not the one you keep meaning to start.
A few things we are selling now
A small, changing shelf. Each one picked for the job it has to do, rather than the aisle it belongs in.

Four rules nothing gets past
We add things slowly. This is what a product has to clear before it reaches the shelf.
Made properly, not cheaply
The materials and the build do the job the thing is sold for, with nothing added to pad out the price.
Made under control
Certified facilities, documented quality control, and batch records we can point to.
Honest about limits
We describe what a thing does and what it does not. Nothing solves everything, and we will not pretend otherwise.
Easy to send back
Thirty days, no interrogation. If it is not working for you, we make it right.
From the first sample to your door
Chosen for the job
We start from the job the thing has to do, then find a maker who can show us how it is built and what it is built from.
Checked before it ships
Samples are checked against the spec before we order, and production runs under documented quality control.
Tracked to your door
Packed small, shipped tracked worldwide, and backed by thirty days to change your mind.
The boring questions, asked every time
Before anything reaches the shelf we ask the same unglamorous questions: what it is made of, how it is put together, and how it holds up after the first month of real use.
- ✓ Materials, namedYou can see what a thing is actually made of, not a vague word like premium.
- ✓ Built to be usedSeams, fastenings and moving parts checked on the sample before we order any of it.
- ✓ Safe for whoever uses itProperly finished, clearly age-rated where that matters, and compliant with the standards for its category.
- ✓ Nothing that pads the boxIf a feature is on the listing, it is there to do a job.
Frequently asked questions
Useful everyday things, chosen one at a time. We do not hold ourselves to a single aisle. If something is well made, does what it says, and we would keep it ourselves, it can earn a place here.
Everything has to clear four rules: it is made properly rather than cheaply, it is produced under documented quality control, we can describe honestly what it does and does not do, and it comes with a returns policy we are not afraid of.
Everything we list is produced under documented quality control and meets the standards that apply to its category. Follow the instructions supplied with the item, and keep anything age-rated away from children below that age.
Slowly. We add things as we find them, and we are happy to go a while without adding anything at all. A smaller shelf is a much easier thing to stand behind.
Yes. We ship globally with tracked shipping, free on orders over $20, and most orders arrive within a week.
You have thirty days. Message us and we will make it right, without putting you through an interrogation first.
It varies by item. We work with makers across Europe and Asia, and we choose them on what they can document rather than on where they happen to be. If you want to know where something came from, ask us and we will tell you.
